In an overwhelimng decision today, the Parliament approved a bill to close all space to military ships, except those of the AOP. All merchant ships will be scanned upon entry into our territory and all ships that have "mischevious cargo" will be boarded and searched.
The bill is to ensure that the illegal balck market of weapons that seems to mysteriously fall into the hands of left-wing radical political parties, is shut down and its leaders executed.
War News: The Shadow Fleet is on orders to rendevue with the Fleet the AOP sends to help take the Achean moon, which holds the Achean's main fleet yard.
Our Second Shock Army has arrived at the Achean ShipYard, and has encountered heavy opposition. They have withdrawn to a defensive position inside the Achean Asteriod Belt and are waiting for the Combined AOP Fleet to arrive to renew the assault. This assault will be deadly and cost a lot of lives, but will reduce the Achean's ability to produce ships prodigeously.

War Front News:
The Combined AOP Fleet has struck at the Achean ShipYard, and has destroyed much of the Achean Fleet there, but has sustained heavy losses. Admiral Yorax, acting Supreme Military Commander, has ordered that defensive beacons and checkpoints be set.
The Siege of Acheo has begun.
I am sending Troop transports to Acheo, to try to secure a foothold on the planet to ensure repairs for our fleet in orbit around it.

I am personally overlooking this attack. My Doomstar flagship, UPK Nebula, should arrive in one hour. I will be commanding general of the First, Second, and Third Shock Fleets of the UPK. This does not mean I will not let Admiral Yorak have a say. He is the better military mind. I will listen and coordinate attacks with him.

GNN: "The Herclux Combine is grieving today, after the loss of Admiral Yorax, after Achean Fleets attacked the outer perimeter defenses. He was caught off guard but repulsed the attack by ordering his ship to ram the FlagShip of the Achean fleet. His attempt succeeded and the Acheans broke off.
In a statement earlier today, Chancellor AoYoS said, "This is a great loss to us and the AOP, we will possibly never ind a greater military mind. A monument is being constructed in his Great Honor."
"It is rumored that the Chancellor is taking control of the Combine's ships at Acheo, he is expected to rendevue with JT 3 at Acheo in one hour, with the First Shock Armageddon Fleet, including the New FlagShip, dubely name Yorax."

We wish to announce the seizure of Acheo. This comes after heavy fighting on the surface after the Achean Defensive fleet retreated. We have taken the moon and are begining to ferry in troops and ships to revive the attack on the Achean Nerve Center. When we amass our forces we will strike.
JT 3, Eccles, and Galen I suggest that you move an assault fleet to the Achean
Sytem called Kiu, and take the secondary shipyard.

In a surprise turn of events, the Achean's have sent a task force to our new colony on Epsilon Eridani. They have conquered the planet but sustained heavy losses. I am returning the fleets in Achean space to retake the planet. I repeat all Fleets in Achean territory will return to Combine space to retake Epsilon Eridani.

You shut up, AoYoS. BTW, what kind of a name is that? Just because I haven't sent any ships to help your faction, doesn't mean I'm not fighting. In fact, we have done suprisingly well against the Achaens with our newfound Disruptor Cannons, even capturing a couple of their colonies. There is a suprising weakness we have found in them, but we are not sure about telling it to other factions.

Korian, just to remind you, I have lost my second largest planet in the Proxima Centauri system. My Second Strike Fleet now consists of 12 Battlecruisers and an Armageddon. I have lost over 21.4 billion lives. 2 of my bases on Aqedu have been destroyed. 13 of my Space Stations have been destroyed.

Just because we are winning you say we are supermanning. I seem to recall you inventing the standard weapon for the battlefleets now, the Disruptor Cannon. We would have started to win eventually anyway, because if we didn't, the RPing would cease to exist(unless you like having everyone posting Stock Market news about the same Faction that we were all conquered by). So, you are basicly saying we are "supermanning" because we initiated an unavoidable event. Also, you have been acting pretty big youself. "We have managed to capture some Achean colonies..... There is a suprising weakness in them". If we are "suupermanning" only because we start to win because of more advanced weapons, you are definatly supermanning, too.

And for your information Korian, my name is much more original than yours I believe I heard your on a cheap scifi movie earlier today.
We also have lost 2 colonies and around 10 million lives. Our fleets have been destroyed and nothing left of our cruisers and titans. This newfound weakness could have been discovered by us which is why we are conquering their planets, so do not presume to tell us the we are "supermanning" again when we have lost way more ships than you have. And by the way, it was because of your perisitant meddling that the Acheans declared war on us and tried to seize Truixia, if we would have not made contact with ou, firends we would still be.

OOC: You are trying your best to make a liar out of me Korian. and as you said before they cannot offer peace without a council vote, so therefore you aren't at peace with them, so don't say you are. JT 3, their emperor would never have been overthrown if I didn't interfere and ask for a ceasefire either.
I REPEAT, KORIAN, you can;t sign a treaty of peace unless the whole roleplaying council votes that we all sign a peace treaty with them so technically you are sitll at war.

Thank you, Collins. What I said was that if you were going to make the Achaens sign a treaty with us, it would have to be ratified by the council. If an individual faction wishes to make peace, they may do so. And, you did say you were the same race as the Achaens. Quite frankly, I am sick of your BS, AoYoS. You cannot presume to tell me whether my faction is at war or not. Ever since you joined, you have spread numerous lies about my faction. If you continue to do so, we will be left with no choice but war.

Korian, I retract my statement about the peace treaty, as I am new to the Council, I lack experience and interpret things differently. But, do not expect my vote to ratify your treaty in the council unless it is vote to establish a peace treaty for all factions with the Acheans.
Going on to War News:
Without firing a shot the Acheans withdrawed from orbiting arond Eridani. They sent us a sole comminque also. It reads, "To the Chancellor of the Herclux Combine, we wish to inform you that the Emperor has been restored to power and the radicals have been executed, the Emperor has a message for you."
With that I venture to Achea under honor guard.

I wish to announce that the Herclux Combine and the Achean Empire have signed a treaty of peace. The stipulations are:
1. The immediate withdrawl of all ships within the Empire and the return of Acheo to the Achean hands.
2. The immediate withdrawl of all Achean ships within AoP territory.
3. The Achean Empire is repaying the AoP over 2 billion energy credits for it aggresions.
4. A demilitarized zone between AoP space and Achean space.
5. The return of all prisoners of war, despite status and relativity.
6. The return of all captured ships, despite status or relativity.
This will be ratified by the AoP Senate.

In session today, the Parliament has voted on five bills, each one having to do with relations with other races.
Bill One:
The Combine will set aside the First Shock Fleet and First Defensive Fleet for AoP usage. All other fleets will be commanded by Chancellor AoYoS and will not intercede any AoP conflicts without the Chancellor's orders. If worst comes to worst, the First Defensive Fleets position will be changed from AoP commanded to Combine Commanded.
Closure of Space:
Turning to isolationism, was once thought to be a dreadful thing. We feel it isnt.
Bill Two: All Combine space is closed to the UA and other races not in the AoP. The only way a UA military ship will be allowed to enter is if a request is sent by Presiden Korian, or Ambassador's Collins and Winston. Then our terms are as follows:
1. If any ship decides to become renegade, we are authorized to destroy it.
2. If any ship tries to stray away from our escort, we are authorized to destroy it.
3. If any ship tries to power its weapons banks, we are authorized to destroy it.
4. If any ship tries to communicate with any of our colonies or stations on the way out of our territory, we are authorized to destroy it.
5. If any ship/fleet strays away from the escort towards a colony or outpost, we are authorized to destroy it.
6. If any ship/fleet enters our territory without escort, we are authorized to destroy it.
7. If any ship/fleet starys towards the demilitarized zone between us and the Acheans, we are authorized to destroy it.
8. If any ship/fleet strays towards our home planets, Herculi and Truixia, we consider this an act of war and we will destroy all fleets of the aggressor race.
On to the Third Bill:
The Third Bill, however sets up an early detection system of an aggressor fleet. These sensors, (OOC: The reffiting of sensors happens here) are placed on all borders and scan into enemy territory. The sensors only scan for ships' drive signatures or cloaking signatures. They are not used for intelligence purposes. These sensors are also equiped with a Particle Beam as to deter any Comets/Fleets/Ships/Space Creatures that enter our territory. Behind these sensors, a plasma shield has been erected to further deter attackers. This is a version of an interstellar Tachyon Field, but has a major weakness, that will not be discussed. Upon each of the generators sits a Star Destroyer.
Bill Four
Increases in our military budget are:
Increased production of all classes of ships exlcuding Death Stars.
A new class of ship, called the Dreadnought, which technical details will not be released at this time, only that it is smaller than a DoomStar but larger than an Armageddon. Only one is built and that is the Chancellor's FlagShip/CommandShip.
And the Last Bill:
If it is seen that we are losing a defensive war, we will evacuate all our planets and leave this Galaxy, destination not aplicable, due to information on stellar jumps. Or that we will evacuate all our planets, and give up our territory, and move our people to the Achean Worlds or UPK worlds, pending their authorization. All of our planets will be bombarded with radiation as to make them uninhabitable for several hundred years, possibly until we can muster the forces to reclaim our territory.

We are fine with all or your security points except for 7. First of all, if the zone is demilitarized, you should not have the capability to destroy any ships that enter that sector. Secondly, you may do what you will with your own space, but I have talked with the Achaens and they have told me that if you fire upon any ships in their space, it will be treated as a declaration of war.

You should not be able to board it either. A demilitarized zone means that neither side has any military capabilities within the zone. That means you CAN NOT board, disable, destroy, damage, or immobilize any ships there or you are breaking your treaty.

ALL SHIPS !MOVING TOWARDS! THE DEMILITARIZED ZONE SHALL BE BOARDED.
As Long as they are still in my space I am authorized to do what I need to to stop them.
If they enter the zone, my ships will stop pursuit and contact the Acheans and havethem deal with the faction at fault.
As long as your in MY SPACE, you are subject to my rules.

Overwhelming support, in the Parliament, brought forth a new bill today.
If a colony or base rebels, we and the AoP have a right to send military forces to quell the uprising. If any non-AoP factions are discovered helping with the revolt, a declaration of war shall be proposed, no matter what the circumstances.

The immediate withdrawl of all ships within the Empire and the return of Acheo to the Achean hands. 2. The immediate withdrawl of all Achean ships within AoP territory. 3. The Achean Empire is repaying the AoP over 2 billion energy credits for it aggresions. 4. A demilitarized zone between AoP space and Achean space. 5. Bill One: The Combine will set aside the First Shock Fleet and First Defensive Fleet for AoP usage. All other fleets will be commanded by Chancellor AoYoS and will not intercede any AoP conflicts without the Chancellor's orders. If worst comes to worst, the First Defensive Fleets position will be changed from AoP commanded to Combine Commanded. Closure of Space: Turning to isolationism, was once thought to be a dreadful thing. We feel it isnt. Bill Two: All Combine space is closed to the UA and other races not in the AoP. The only way a UA military ship will be allowed to enter is if a request is sent by Presiden Korian, or Ambassador's Collins and Winston. Then our terms are as follows: 1. If any ship decides to become renegade, we are authorized to destroy it. 2. If any ship tries to stray away from our escort, we are authorized to destroy it. 3. If any ship tries to power its weapons banks, we are authorized to destroy it. 4. If any ship tries to communicate with any of our colonies or stations on the way out of our territory, we are authorized to destroy it. 5. If any ship/fleet strays away from the escort towards a colony or outpost, we are authorized to destroy it. 6. If any ship/fleet enters our territory without escort, we are authorized to destroy it. 7. If any ship/fleet starys towards the demilitarized zone between us and the Acheans, we are authorized to destroy it. 8. If any ship/fleet strays towards our home planets, Herculi and Truixia, we consider this an act of war and we will destroy all fleets of the aggressor race. On to the Third Bill: The Third Bill, however sets up an early detection system of an aggressor fleet. These sensors, (OOC: The reffiting of sensors happens here) are placed on all borders and scan into enemy territory. The sensors only scan for ships' drive signatures or cloaking signatures. They are not used for intelligence purposes. These sensors are also equiped with a Particle Beam as to deter any Comets/Fleets/Ships/Space Creatures that enter our territory. Behind these sensors, a plasma shield has been erected to further deter attackers. This is a version of an interstellar Tachyon Field, but has a major weakness, that will not be discussed. Upon each of the generators sits a Star Destroyer. Bill Four Increases in our military budget are: Increased production of all classes of ships exlcuding Death Stars. A new class of ship, called the Dreadnought, which technical details will not be released at this time, only that it is smaller than a DoomStar but larger than an Armageddon. Only one is built and that is the Chancellor's FlagShip/CommandShip. And the Last Bill: If it is seen that we are losing a defensive war, we will evacuate all our planets and leave this Galaxy, destination not aplicable, due to information on stellar jumps. Or that we will evacuate all our planets, and give up our territory, and move our people to the Achean Worlds or UPK worlds, pending their authorization. All of our planets will be bombarded with radiation as to make them uninhabitable for several hundred years, possibly until we can muster the forces to reclaim our territory. First of all, if the zone is demilitarized, you should not have the capability to destroy any ships that enter that sector. Secondly, you may do what you will with your own space, but I have talked with the Achaens and they have told me that if you fire upon any ships in their space, it will be treated as a declaration of war.
