It seems pretty balanced. I was impressed with how much trivia you know. (Lemelisk, the names of the Star Destroyers, among others.)

How bout some Interdictors and Frigates? Maybe make Frigates and Interdictors the water bases and leave Star Destroyers for land?

Definitely looks balanced to me.
Yes, I remember the Chimeara, but I would have to read the books again to know for sure.

Chimaera was in Timothy Zahns Heir To The Empire (Or was it Heir Of The Empire? Big deal) trilogy. Intredictors and frigates for water bases? Sounds good, just give me some time to find out some names of them.

Well there's an Interdictor Cruisor Aggregrator from the X:Wing Bacta War and I seem to recall the presence of a Lancer class frigate in X-Wing: Rogue Squadron. If you place the games you'll get some names too. The Frigate Manevolent from X-Wing vs. TIE-Fighter.

I'd just like to say that the fact they have +2 support, but can't use democracy is great. This pretty much eliminates any "trading off" of their bonuses. Always a good idea.
