JT3, Korian and Q-Cubed all dance to the puppetmaster of Machine-Psy. I would not mind assimilation, but that the Brotherhoods beliefs differ from my mine.
I hope for peace without assimilation.
This seems unlikely, so I call to the Banner every remaining Faction Spyder, Galen, Winston and Klug. We must fight for the choice to attain Perfection our own way.
JT3 and the rest seem normal, but they are allies to Tyranny.
I propose a pooling of military, and command resources so we can fight the inevitable war. please let me know.

Just as I finished writting this thread Collins offered co-existence, this must be the most shortlived thread ever!

Ecceles: I am slightly different. I do not _have_ to declare war anyone the Brotherhood. I also can declare my own war when wished. Also, I was not assimilated, and neither was my military or my government. Some of the general populace was, but that was mostly the sick, elderly, and needy, who neede the artificial parts to stay alive. Also, the people assimilated still have free will. They are Cyborgs, which means a human given artificial enhancments. Like an artificial heart to replace a diseased real one, bone reenforcments to strengthen the bones, neural amplifiers to aid memory, optical receptors to help the blind, etc. They still have free will. My Faction is still a Democracy, not some Facist Police State as you are indicating. The Pact with the Brotherhood is one of Peace, Prosperity, and Happiness. Think, if you go to war, you are not in peace, you are not prospering, and some of your people aren't happy.
And I don't think any of the Factions assimilated so far "dance to the Cyborg puppetmasters". We will probably join in wars, have much trade, and share territory. But we aren't absolutly controled.

I meant that the Brotherhood would inforce its will for Perfection apon us all. Mark me it will happen to you JT3. Assimilation is more than your pragmatism will comprehend.
Winston since Collins has offered peace I think it now unnessary. But if he persists in assimilation we shall start an alliance.
Nothing wrong with Tyranny. I run one, but it attempts to force humanity into survival and Utopia. Collins views disagree with mine for the future of Humanity.

I also have just signed peace with the BrotherHood, but President Ryan remains sceptical. We wish to prevent a war, but willnot be forced into this Brotherhood. If there are attempts to assimilate us, the reaction will be swift and harsh. We are glad we avoided the war...for now.
We are downgrading our military to DefCon 4, and the Carrier INDEPENDENCE and its battle group will remain in Centauri Space for the time being.

While I do maintain my alliance with the Brotherhood, I will accept your offer of alliance. However, it will be under these terms:
�I will neither offer military assistance to your alliance nor condone the usage of arms. On the other hand, that is also the same policy I maintain with the Brotherhood.
�This alliance will permit free exchange of technological advances in certain areas, as well as facilitate financial, political, and cultural exchanges/aid.
�No attempts to interfere with internal politics or probing by any party against another member of the party.
�I will provide some information on the Brotherhood to your alliance; however, I will provide the same unclassified information on your nations to the Brotherhood.
I await your response; I would hope that our nations can coexist. After all, peace in our time is a worthy goal, even for a hermit nation.
