This is just like the other four votes. Give three points to your favorite, two to #2, and one to your third favorite. There are too many secret projects to list them all, so I decided to just list the projects with one or more votes. Add projects to the list as they get votes. Now, these are my favorites: #1 - The Citizen's Defense Force - Good for protecting bases. #2 - The Maritime Control Center - The extra moves my sea units get is worth even more than the Morale upgrade. #3 - The Cyborg Factory - Good for the Morale upgrade for all units, especially Probe units (Land and Sea). So the scores are: Citizen's Defense Force - 3 The Maritime Control Center - 2 The Cyborg Factory - 1

hmm..Why can't I resist these polls?!?!??!? Well, I find it strange if not everyone LOVES the Weather Paradigm. +50% terraforming speed for the rest of the game is incredible... This SP usually makes your survival chances a lot higher, because of Bore Holes, and more population due to faster terraforming!!! 3 points. I am the kind of person that NEVER builds defensive probe teams... Guess what gets 2 points... The Hunter-Seeker Algorithm. Also, since I tend to get a lot of drones, I love the Telepathic Matrix... Bye bye drones!!! 1 point. (Also, the +2 probe doesn't hurt if I missed the HSA.. ) The reason I don't give any points to The Citizen's Defense Force, is that I usually play with the Hive, and have that ability built in .. <G> But if I was anyone else than The Hive... it would get 1 point. Also, a honorable mention to The Empath's Guild... This really increases your research by trading techs, and income with treaties.... Also, it helps out a lot if you get elected as Planetary Governor. So... Here's the current score! Citizen's Defense Force - 3 Weather Paradigm - 3 Hunter-Seeker Algorithm - 2 The Maritime Control Center - 2 Telepathic Matrix - 1 The Cyborg Factory - 1 TNSe |

#1 - To me, the fastest and cheapest attack unit is the probe unit. All it has to do is enter and you know you're missing something. So Hunter-Seeker Algorithm gets 3 points.#2 - The Cyborg Factory, now this is good. Every unit built, gets a morale upgrade of 2. #3 - Money(energy) means everything. If you are behind start buying there is no need to wait. There are many secret project to like here but a good one is the Self-Aware Colony. It halves my facility cost and adds a police if allowed. Score so far: Hunter-Seeker Algorithm - 5 The Cyborg Factory - 3 Citizen's Defense Force - 3 Weather Paradigm - 3 The Maritime Control Center - 2 Telepathic Matrix - 1 Self-Aware Colony - 1 |

My votes again. probably similar as beforeHunter seeker: way too powerful there still should be a 5% chance of probe team action Virtual World: what more could you ask for increased research and reduced drones Weather Paradigm: the biggie for builders I used to like cloning vats but I usually have won the game at this point, but hunter seeker still comes early enough to be quite useful. |

vel vel vel- let me see....Space Elevator 3: once your up here, you can set your self up as the long arm of 'techno god' (or just god -if you play beleivers) striking with impunity anywhere in the world. Hunter Seeker Algorithm 3: cool name, beutiful immunity. kinda reminds me of those fly-lights you get in take-away restaurants and such. whatch those probe teams fry. Weather Paradigm 3: so i can get those boreholes ready from the early, and cut off pottential interference from 'other side of land bridge non-sympathisers' and get the terraforming-chores done quiktime. Telepathic Matrix 2: work harder you ***stards! you dont like it! wot you ganna do!? you cant riot!! A-HA-HA-HAHAHAHAAAA Cloning Vats 1: can mean the extra number power to swipe that coverted Supreme Leader vote. boring, but to important to let the enemy have it. the rest- better to have them, their all quite charming in their own way. |

OK, I'll get some that people aren't voting much yet (except for HSA)3 points-Supercollider: Just get this one on your Headquarters and collect as much energy as you can in that base. Great on smaller maps when you have less colonies. 2 points-Nanofactory (is this really the name): Don't waste your time repairing your units and don't waste your minerals building special structures just to repair your unit faster. Even better outside your territory. 1 point-Hunter-Seeker Alorythim: Isn't it lovely to see all those popups saying your HSA just killed another probe team. Total scores: Hunter-Seeker Algorithm - 10 Weather Paradigm - 7 Vitual World - 5 Cyborg Factory - 3 Citizen's Defense Force - 3 Space Elevator - 3 Supercollider - 3 The Maritime Control Center - 2 Cloning Vats - 2 Nanofactory - 2 Telepath Matrix - 1 Self-Aware Colony - 1 Network Backbone - 1

Y'know, this is kinda relative to a lot of things: Faction, time into game, map size etc. But here it goes:HSA- I play as UoP. This is my third priority after secrets of human brain and cyberethics. I agree that it is way to powerful. How is the new probe faction going to handle it?? Virtual World - Once again UoP. This is another project made for it. You already have the nodes... Weather Paradigm - Gets those damn formers out of the way quicker. Totals: Hunter-Seeker Algorithm - 17 Weather Paradigm - 10 Vitual World - 7 Cloning Vats - 5 Space Elevator - 4 Telepath Matrix - 3 Cyborg Factory - 3 Citizen's Defense Force - 3 Supercollider - 3 The Maritime Control Center - 2 Nanofactory - 2 Self-Aware Colony - 1 Network Backbone - 1

For what its worth, early in the game I view the Empath Guild as a must. Obtaining this permits me to negotiate with all the other factions first and obtain a significant leg up to become planetary governer. I use the negotiation power to buy the governship (I normally am not large enough yet to win it outright), and to pit one faction against the other.Later in the game, I find the Cloning Vats to be quite useful. This permits one to have population boom when Green. This is very important. All the others have utility, but none are critical. One I especially like is the Xenopathy Dome. Fungus becomes a real friend and ally. By the way, I really like playing Miriam on Transcend. The extra support and attacking power are great. Ned |

I'd have to say that HSA gets in fourth because that means it's safe to pact with lal, and it stops other people from getting it. |
