How do i maxmize my score, and how can you get over 10000?

How to maximize score...
First of all, the obvious answers...
Huge Map (Or huge custom size)
Transcendant
Complete the game using the Transcend method.
Abundant Life forms (+25% score)
Also, for the BIG bonus....
IRON MAN! (+100%)
So with IRON MAN + Abundant, you get +150% score... (I think)
Before you transcend, conquer all your enemies, build as many colonies as the map can take, and research as many transcendant thoughts you can.
So .. which faction is this strategy easiest with?
The Hive... They can be both builder and go Conquer..
Have I tried this? Yes...
Huge Map, Transcendant, IRON MAN, Abundant Life Forms... I got 3800% (40,000 points)
Had 300 Colonies, and atleast just as much transcendant thoughts.
Now I'm waiting for the Pirates faction (I love sea-bases)

If you play on Transcend, do you get a higher score?

higher difficulty yields higher AC rating, but not higher score.
