I believe in one game I nuked about 7,000 and executed some 2,500,000 people. The reason for this was I knew I could not win, so as my tradition demands I fired off all my Planetbusters, attacked all my allies and such, and executed all my citizens. (I don't care to be beaten, so I stop before then )

So yes, I think it was 2.5 million dead. I wrote it down somewhere, but that's doubtless lost somewhere. It's somewhere in the forums. I'll look and report back.

Hmm...new goal. Build huge population, like ten million or above, then execute them all.

I've done that before. I had a game where I was just trying to rack up the score by building megacities.

Toward the end, I got bored and built a bunch of Singularity PBs and used the Psi gates to spread them all over the world. Then I released some mindworms into the wild near all the cities and proceeded to nuke every single city in the world. I couldn't nuke some of the sea cities, though. Anybody know a way to nuke your own seabase?

In any case, since I hit about 65 cities of average population 50, I'd say that was a global apocalypse. At the end, there was only a few scattered islands left and the world was one huge ocean.

There is a thing every1 talking about & i dont get it!
1)how can u send mindworms for free?????
2)the AI sometimes gives me units as a gift
how can i do the same?

to give units to other factions, put them in the other faction's base and there is a option to turn them over to the other faction in the unit's menu. You get mindworms for free by enganging them in combat, with a +1 planet rating or higher.

I haven't kept track, but in one game, I decided to either PB or capture and destroy every Believer base.

15 bases around average size of 5 times 10000 population = 750,000. At the least. Not nearly in the WW1 ballpark, but it was bad enough to get rid of the Believers.
