Missiles cannot be armed with special abilities(Things units cannot normaly do). There is only one setting for planet busters (Anything lower would be conventional). And I don't know about carrier deck being restricted to sea units.

Carriers can carry air units and land units since carrier deck is the special ability of transports. Since a missle is an air unit pb's and conventional missles can be loaded on them to.
Slots on cruiser chasis? do you mean special abilities. It's 1 until after neural grafting then it's 2
I don't know the weapons/ special abilities off hand try the datalinks.

Carrier decks can only be placed on seagoing units. I had an idea where I would make a drop carrier transport (w/Space Elevator), and load it with missiles. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible. I guess I could edit alpha.txt to do it...
On PB's the radius of damage is set by the reactor, 1-4. You can build weaker reactor PBs after you have higher tech, but they will cost as much or more.
I don't think that you need a list if weapons & abilities to decide whether or not to buy the game - just do it. And get addicted.

If I'm stocking up on PBs, I always build two kinds. One with the fission reactor for precision strikes, one with the biggest reactor I can get for mass carnage. Use the little one to wipe out annoying bases that are near good terrain, so you can claim the land for yourself.
