How do you use the supply crawlers?

Sorry,

1. Build the thing
2. Move it to a resource rich location outside the boundries of your city.
3. Activate the unit (right click on it and select activate)
4. Select "Convey Resources"
5. It will ask you what you want to convey (ie. Nutrients, Minerals, or Energy).
6. You can also create "Sea Crawlers" using the design workshop.

Xeno.

Btw, the "O" key is the shortcut to Convoy resources.

Supply units are wonderful: they utilise resources outside base limits, or when you have too few citizens working; they can be sent to a base building a Project to hurry it; they can transfer resources from one base to another (eg, if one base is starving but another has ample food).

You can build supply rovers, supply hovertanks, supply grav ships, drop supply units.

If you're sick of losing supply units to native or factional attacks, you can give them armor, AAA and trance.

Incidentally, "crawler" and "unit" aren't the official noun for these handy specimens, but I forget what it is, though it's mentioned in the game customisation file, Alpha.txt.
