Does it make more sense to fill Mount Planet up with solar collectors and mirrors, or to mine the hell out of it?

Mine any rocky squares and solar collector the rest. Mt. Planet can give you 7 minerals in a rocky square, more than a borehole. It'd be a crime to waste that.

I agree with plato, but I usually go one step futher. I try and make mount planet my army/airforce factory. I might have it change for a SP, but making clean units is what I usually like for it to do.
The Punishment sphere/Genejack Factory type thing. Of course Command center and Aerospace comples and a road from it to the nearest monolith.
