Make 50 PBs and hit all the factions at once, and win the game while the computer spouts out that all the factions have declared war on you then you hear faction eradicated. Try it yourselves. DESTROYAH

it's even better when you leave a couple of enemy cities unnuked. then make sure you have no trance defenders in you cities. And see if you can withstand the onslaught. |

50 pbs?! How long does it take to build that many? I feel and this is just my opinion, that picking on the ai like that is a lot like picking on a dumb animal. What's the point? |

I think you may be taking this a bit seriously Mcerion. If you hace the resources to build 50 PBs (at least 50 deacent reactor ones) you can win the game by any way you like. Anyway last time I checked winning by conquest was a valid victory. And this tactic does work. And is highly amusing. And produces lots of large craters...Probably should stop at this point as I am rambling |

u know if u repeal the U.N Charter of rights thing or whatever the hell they call it...u dont get in big trouble for using PBs... the individual faction will decare war but noone else gets involved..... its fun once u repeal the thing.....u can go around nerve stapleing blowing up conquered cities waging geneitc warfare and none of the other factions get mad.... hehe,.,,,,........of course u arnt exactly gonna be considered noble:-) |

I have been known to commit the odd atrocity from time to time.asenaw - how those good old-fashioned nerve gas bombers, aint they great destroyah - one of my favourite games is to see if I can sink all the land (other than mine) using singularity busters, ideally the turn before I trancend. |

I'd like to try that sometime too. The only problem is that by the time I finally am ready to ascend usually all the land IS mine. Usually I just keep 1 city from a random faction intact that I like to call my Zoo. My military has generally crushed, captured or colonized everything long before I can transcend. |

yes, it is an exceptional feeling. To be downright nasty in the game (even if aided by the cheats,) is great fun. Obliterating bases and putting thousands and thousands of innocents to death is sort of the icing on the cake. But, to be fair, I once used the editor to give an opponent a whole handful of PB...more than I had defense pods. On the next turn, he proceeded to wipe me out to the last base..nothing left but craters. And even this was exhilirating in a strange way. Perhaps it feeds into Freud's theory that we all crave the ocean of oblivion. And this is what I got for sharing PBs with other factions...oblivion. What a rush. |

I was attacking a city just to kill off the brand New Planet Buster the Spatrans has finished. I cleared out all the defensive units and when it came to killing the PB the combat ods were 2:1. I was using a shard chopper that was 30% damaged, but 2:1 odds verses a missile. Seems odd. I guess the missile firing crew had antiaircraft weapons. |

If you have activated the scenario editor make some PB's for the Aliens. The game acts really wierd at this point because if you make too many they just disapear. Also, the Aliens seem to send them to the faction with the highest eco damage. |

Woo nasty idea - being PBed by planet. Also highly ironic that the planet would choose to do something so inherently anti-planet.beta-1 Is waiting for the worms to fight back. |

rightclick on the unit, then select "Edit Unit", then select "Player". It should show Aliens. Click on "Aliens". :0 |

4 me, PBs were great fun back in my younger, wilder days, but now im older and-more mature, i like to win thru diplomacy and conquest without a single pb bein fired. y? bcos i hate it when my carefully laden-enhancement packed landmass becomes a water loged lump in puddle of its former self. i like land, lots of land, land to crush the enemy into. i also like several other factions around, all of reasonable strenth,(though completely outclassed by me own godlike techno powers) for me to devide, bully, intimidate and have engage in warfare with each other for my own amusement. haaaaaa, just thinkin about it makes me sigh.hey, as regards attrocities, i recently finished a game as the pk (punk kikers) where i had a truly noble rep amongst everybody else (who later voted me as SL) exept the Spartans. u c, sunspot activity came around as i was becoming bored of a long and tediouse vendetta with them and- well, 500 000 Spartan civilians put to death. i didnt mean it it just happened. no one beleived them of course, who would- im the PK- utterly noble. the Spartans? they were destroyed. & rightfully so i might add. |
