I have downloaded a few map files and have not been able to get them to work. I can load the map file, but when I start the game all that happens is that I get "Turn Complete". THere are no units on the map for any faction.
Did I miss something somewhere.

When you click on load map file from the scneario section it's the same as the map editor in civ2. This is only for editing the maps. Are you clicking load map file from the scenario page or after you click start new game? Anyway after I click start new game I click load map file. Pick a map and then pick a faction. It should work.
