Has anyone taken the time to download the 10 megabyte alternate color palette? I always thought the color scheme in SMAC looked kind of gloomy compared to civ II. But I wasn't sure if it was worth such a large donwload to change it. Who here knows what it looks like?

I'm not colour-blind, but installed that palette.... Did you re-install smac before ?
Seriously, if you like yellow, like poison, try it. Both palette, alternative and normal, are terrible, IMHO.
