When I have a +2 population growth, I seem to get a new citizen in a random city. Inevitably, this causes a drone riot. Is there a way to predict which city the new growth will be affected by? I am realatively new to SMAC but playing my second transcend game as the Gaians.

The only way I know of is to scroll through all your bases and look at the upper left growth chart. It will say when your population will increase. This should be modified corectly when you go to +2 growth. It's kind of a pain, but necessary on transcend level to prevent drone riots. That's why I prefer thinker level. It doesn't matter if my city falls to drone riot one turn. I still can easily beat the ai.
