I was playing a good intence game.I was playing on Huge Planet. I was on the L shaped western continent and i controlled all of it except 4 bases at the top of the continent controlled by the Morganites. they had a submissive pact to me. I am a natural PeaceKeeper, they started the war. I kept them around for votes and money. The belivers got bombarded by me when they invaded the University. I set up about 5 cities by Mount Planet and gave it to the University because Miraim almost killed him. And The belivers started to the left of the Great Dunes and the University on the Top part of the East continent. The Spartians we on the cnet continent with the Hive and the Hive eradicated them before i could step in. The belivers are being contained by the gaians. They have been deadlocked for 50 years.THe gaians got the Monsoon jungle side of the continent and the belivers the the East side. Then a Hive Missle destroyer attack my missle foil. That triggered the the War.Peace Talks I asked Yang for peace but he declined. He said that the only way for peace is to give him 1,000 energy credits. We decided for war! WAR!! I mobilized my stationed forces in my cities. I started to build transports andDestroyers massivly. I swiched to Democratic\Green\Power. I then put about 2 missle Squads on every transport. I got about 3 transports and 5 destroyers(to protect the transports) and landed on his southern shore of the continent. I then invaded Socialism Tunnels and captured it I hat atrocities so i didnt Obliderate.(cant spell) I then Invaded Ironholm(Previsoly Spartian City) and captured it. Next Turn we asked for a truse and i saide yes. I packed 4 transports of missle troops and went to rehenforce the area i captured then out of nowhere 3 ofhis Destroyers sunk them to the bottom(that was most of my army). I got outraged. Then he in vaded and took back Socialism Tunnels and Ironholm. i decied that i cound not win by sended more ground troops. So I started building the biggest navy ever(while the war intenceifies i swich to POlice state). Stay tuned!

Navy WarThe hive had about 7 ocean side cities. But before my Destroyers attacked the cities, i had to take out every single one of his Navy ships. I lost about 5 ships of about 20. So i hade about 16 ships left. Then I had to spend Major money Upgrading thhe ships to Chaos Destroyers. I then sent then al to the major shore bases. I bombarded them. Never gave thema chance to breath. While this was occuring i was building up my Air Force. Stalemate Before my Air Force would be released i had to build Sea bases near thier shore so my AF could take off near for less of a trip. I set up one base, and the Next turn Hive Needlejets attacked my Destroyers. They destroyed my huge navy. But in a couple of turns i had my air force fighting his. They were stalemated. We both lost about have of our air force. Truce for now Then we both decided it was time to call a truce. We both were exausted. And it was time to rebuild Both of our economy's were dissolving. Drone riots. Chaos in our home countrys. The long peace We lived in a peaceful cold war for about 20 years. Then the Hive Annonced that they were gonna support the belivers in thier war against the gaians. The gaians cried to me for help and I accepted. Stay Tuned. |

Sounds like fun but it definitely sounds like you are being hurt by your peacekeeping tendencies. Be a little more Spartan. You never should have given him time to regroup when you took the two cities.Don't give him a truce until he's a battered hulk of his former self. I generally play a relatively peaceful Spartan force (oxymoron?). That is I generally don't screw other factions over but I do punish those that provoke me. You need to do the same to Yang. He's a slimy bastard anyway. |

Gripping stuff, I love these war journals in the forums. Must get around to posting one of my own sometime.Quick tip, *never* trust Yang to stick to a truce. He's done the dirty on me so many times I don't even answer his comm calls anymore. As the saying goes 'Fool me once, more fool you. Fool me twice, more fool me. Fool me three times, I rip off your head and spit down your neck.' At least, that's the Kardian version of the saying. What do you expect from a race who's favourite victory cry is 'That'll teach you to make lump custard!' Only agree to truce with Yang if you're prepared to resume fighting right away and you can benefit from Yang's reputation being damaged (fer example, if you want to split apart an alliance he's in). |
