Morganites are the best because the start off with +1 Economy. People always think that Morgan must go Free market, but thats not true. I never go free market with Morgan (it is an absolute militaristic disaster)But what I do is go for Police/Green/Wealth which gives +1 energy in every square!!! -Police state helps support and police and the - efficency is counter acted by green This is the best combo in the whole game...if you want a good future society go with cybernetic for the increased efficency, don't go for Eudaimonic unless you wan't weak weak weak weak weak weak militry forces (-4 morale?? I don't think so!!) The next reason for being CEO is that with the increased economy I always do better than Zakarov in tech!! plus cybernetic helps in research... So using this method I dominate economically and militaristically because MONEY IS POWER AND POWER NEEDS MONEY!!! accept this fact and play as morgan, Also on a personal note.. I love finishing Secret Projects in one turn... it is really fun!! HINT: when playing morgan make as many bases as possible no matter what...If your efficency gets bad drop the Police state and see your +2 efficency shine thourgh your empire!!

Hey I agree about the social enginering. That is a great combo if you are Morgan. I think police/green is the best there is then you pick one of the values that goes well with your faction/strategy. I pretty much always go police state though I think that the believers don't really need it, at least not as much. I think support is one of the most important (economy is the best but hard to get) things in the game. Being able to support multiple formers from every city really helps. I tend to have two per city and I never put them on auto. Well I just had to respond since I never see anyone using police state (besides my friends). |

I play Police State whenever I'm using one of the "bad guys" like the Hive, Spartans or Believers. With Morgan, I usually go for Democratic/Green/Wealth. I don't find Free Market all that appealing at all. The thing I love about Morgan is that he can simply afford to buy his way out of any situation. I try to make sure I have treaties with all factions early, and try to keep them as happy as possible through energy or tech bribes. Then I steal techs (usually from the Gaians or University) and attempt to blame other factions. This has caused massive wars between other factions while I sat pretty and kept the green rolling in. I've even bankrolled both sides of a conflict before, just to keep the war going longer. Then I usually just buy the Secret Projects if I notice someone else getting close to breaking through on one that I want. Try not to make pacts unless it's a definitely advantageous situations. You don't want to be dragged into vendettas that sap energy and waste precious resources for no good reason. |

I think Police State is necessary regardless of my own faction because I always try to wage war on exactly one enemy (preferably 2nd place in charts). I am morgan on librarian right now with: police/freemarket/knowledge Free market is giving me tons of cash and as long as I funnel some funds into psych, I can keep the majority of my people happy (with rec commons and net nodes+virtual world).Morgan's ability to buy is good but I find it better to also wage war in order to increase territory. If I have most territory, I have better economic backbone and will always win. |

I got Morgan with Police State/Free Market/Knowledge/Cybernetic (with that wonder, which I can't recall right now, that eliminates the bad part of cybernetic)Imran Siddiqui |

As Morgan i LOVE to take free market and wealth. You can only do it in a time of peace, but then you turn your ECON/PSYCH/RSRCH to 30%/40%/30%, you find you get a ton of money, research really fast, and since all your cities are in golden age they get an additional +1 ECON so they have 4 ECON!! This creates tons of trade in a peacetime economy, particularly if you are governer. I was making 200 money/turn and tech every 5 turns, and my tech rate didn't stop. When making so much money you can merely use probes to kill of your enemies since they don't cost upkeep or cause unhappiness. I also do democracy to increase growth rate, with children caches, is rather high. |

You now what's really funny. In my first Transcendence game Morgan that dumb bastard, only started on a single square Island. And in the year 2300, he had only placed a single water Base. Now was he easy to beat or what!! (Just like all the other times) |
