There is just way too much garbage not relating to the subject at all. Aren't there chat rooms and other places for these things to take place.

Bugger off!
If you don't like it, just post in those threads that relate to SMAC. The only person with the power to shut us down is Mike Ely. |

When you become a member you stop caring. Plus Firaxis hasnt given us much info, so the non-sense threads are just to hold us over until they give us info. Ive been a member for sometime now. Lets see, it was about 1000 posts ago. |

Yes. Do Smeg off. We're interested in this game because it will entertain us. These forums entertain us. Do we see a connection here? Lighten up and have fun. |

And now something completely different:
I think that Firaxis should give us more info, but not in a big glob. Just give us a new picture or tidbit every day. Is that so hard??? |

Yeah a screen shot where and there would be great. It also does not take long to do (so that they can finish the game ASAP)

Do you think that we have ruined Propagator's thread now :) |

Also, I would like to ask our great members to please be a little more polite to the SMAC heritics. I have felt a little unguided for a while and so have not been posting much. I also can not wait for more info (or the game) to come out. But, let's not be overly agressive when replying.
Andy
PS I hope that the beta testers will be able to post on the game!! |

We are pretty polite as long as people are humble. I have been whacked down hard once or twice, but was not offended. This guy hasn't even replied to his own thread.
Hey Propagator, don't take it personally. This is just like any other group of people. If you are new, it is somtimes better to listen than to talk. |

Propogator has got a point. I just don't agree with it (what a surprise) |

Yo tampoco. ["Me neither" for the non-Spaniards out there - although to be fair, I felt kinda the same way before, oh, post fifty or so.] |

Not me. I enjoyed the strange sh** from the start. The stuff about the game is the least interesting stuff here. The science-fiction hypothesises (?) (what's plural for hypothesis?) are very interesting, but I like the weird conversations in the GC best. |

There should be some of both. I think SMAC attracts people with common interests. It's sort of like walking into a Star Trek convention. You discover that you have more in common than just ST.
The plural of hypothesis is hypotheses. |

Thomas puts up with all of our crap. If Thomas can do it, well, no one else can. |

Apoc's back, and it seems that he doesn't like our fun either :( Anyone else think he's been off Beta testing? |

TAS
Apoc
Propagator
Who else...
I think Loki and Snowfire said something about this somewhere.
I Know!! These people are trying to become the Moderators for the new post-release forums! |

extremely scary, I actually volunteered TAS before the Chronicle wars.
trust me, not TAS. He'll feed you with so much technical stuff that you'll think you're living with Einstein and Hawkings. |

I enjoy reading the strange messages. I fell over laughing at Ohio. Of course, I read at three in the morning on a caffeine kick, so. |

What d'ya mean "post release forums"? They're not getting rid of these ones are they?
BTW, TAS isn't against fun. It just that his fun side comes out rather occassionaly. [Usually followed by strange, maniacal laughs. Hmmmm.] |
