Is anyone else getting this problem. Two days ago, I got like 29 messages saying people have responded. Today, nothing, even though there are new posts in my threads.

I can get to my e-mail so I can say anything, just give you a test that's all

maybe it has something to do with those server errors. I got one when i posted that last message

hey i got it again. I think i might have cracked the server error.
it says"
Could not connect to server.

The server does not respond appropriately.. it may not be an SMTP server. "
This could be a reference to the server that YOUR e-mail is on. The error does not affect posting so I don't think it is a local thing.
Yippie! I hope this solves the riddles.

Damn it! why the hell am i in the nexus. I tried to respond to "E-mail Notification No Longer Works!" by Diabolik and got here.
DAMN it!!!!
I Thought i figured it out.

sorry for the language, if i knew this way public then i would not have said those things.)
OK, here is what happened:
I posted respponce #1 and got a server error
hit the back button
retyped over post 1 in text box
Posted #2 and got a server error
hit the back button
retyped over post 2 in text box
Posted #3 and got the server error
hit the back button
And found my self in a nexus thred with a blank first thread.
Then i went out into the forum, and clicked on diabolik's thread and saw that i was not in the nexus.

NIM is very active. It must involve the nexus, server errors and a failure in the e-mail notification thing.

this is a mess.
I should have never come here, sorry everybody.
my first post should read "i can NOT get to my e-mail so I can NOT say anything..."
I should get more sleep.

I'm still getting E-mail notification. I think Outlyr's idea about the SMTP server is probably right.
