This is a thread for discussion on what we are going to do after SMAC is released. Of course beside playing SMAC itself ;).

Come here complain about lack of sleep, food and loss of loved ones then post our every move (on the 32nd turn I... On the 33rd turn I...). Then start threads about MOD packs, SMAC2 and Net play; Lose our jobs or get kicked out of the house; Wonder where all of the time has gone; start collecting Social Security ("yes! 2 cents a month!"); Make it to the CCCCCCCCCC CLub and Die!

Your completely right. Strategy and Tactics & Chronicles of future histories will be so PPAACCKKEEDD with stuff like "4th Armor devision 33 klicks east of S8472 moved 4.6 klicks southwest, and the Spartans got pissed..." that there might have to be a new forum to lick it all up. The "Step by Step SMACs of Addicts" Forum or something. Everyone is going to be telling there history.

I expect to see people who post WHILE playing the game. There could be a Post-N-Play thread or something like that.
Hey that gives me an Idea, how about playing 2 SMAC games at once. Most of our Computers could handle it.

I would probibly post and play if another player has the game pause and I want something to do.
I will probibly play 2 SMAC games at one time just to try it out. I might mess up and do something in the wrong SMAC game though. :(

Firaxis could include a feature that writes a chronicle of your game's history, sort of an advanced version of the ending map in the original Civ. And there could be a button with "Upload to forum".

Pleze snd me them thre cheet codez so i cen be beeting side mayar's alfa cenari? it be vry hlpfl.
This will be even more fun if Firaxis handles the cheat codes like *other* companies have in *other* 4x games.
