I wanna know why SMAC got its own site from Firaxis & Gettysburg didnt. Gettysburg was a pretty good game. |

For one, SMAC is suppose to do a lot better. I don't know if that is the main reason though. |

I would say it's because this was the game everyone was expecting from Firaxis as the unofficial CivII sequal. Gettysburg may have been the first game, but SMAC is where it is at. :) Sorry, I had to say that at sometime. |

Look at the interest this game has generated. I never played Gettysburg, and didn't really get excited by it, but this game will be the nuts. |

Alpha Centuari got its own site mainly because we wanted to start fresh with a cool site built from the ground up, with its own look and feel. Plus, www.alphacentauri.com was available, so why not use it? :) |
