I just learned TONS of super cool stuff from Brian. Where was it? Deep in the feart of a thread on a new chronicle. Do not taunt us like this!
I would love to see a simple, moderated forum, with only the Firaxis folks posting. One place to tell us everything important.. so we don't have to search around so much. Be kind!
Maybe a way to anwser user questions, or at least a couple of them? (on Compuserv, I think, Rom Moore (of Star Trek, DS9) has a forum where people submit questions, and every once in a while he anwsers whatever questions he feels like, in one large, coherent post) This is nice, because it can keep info together. And you know us. We'll take anything you throw at us.

In addition, it could help replace the "new story posted" messages that appear in different forums, and a place to ask for stuff from the readers.. as they do on occasion.....

I agree with the concept of the Announcements forum - moderated with only posts from the Firaxis crew allowed. Otherwise we will probally end up with extraneous (word?) threads about Brian sightings, Mike sightings etc....

An Announcements Forum would be very useful. Count me in. I vote for an Announcements Forum.

Not a bad idea, but it seems like everyone wants a forum for pretty much every different topic posted about. I don't really see the need for something about announcements, after all there is that little scrolling bar that announces most stuff.

True - but that little scrolling bar does not give us an alert that Brian or Mike may have offered up some new info in one of the forum discussion threads. But now that I think about it...they should continue with their posting relevant to the topic thread - howabout just a thread then where we can mention where new info was just posted, similiar to what they did the other day?

I like the idea of a thread where people post the locations of interesting postings from the Firaxis team.
