Mike, I would recommend you set up a forum for humor and light-hearted items, such as the music or books for the various forums.

Here's my vote for a 'Smac Madness' forum!

A humor forum would be great. It would clear up the other forums drasisticly though. |

Could we move existing threads into it? |

Now, this could lead to some more civilized people simply ignoring the humor forum and contributing real ideas insted, losers |

I don't want a humor forum. I think the funny/non-seriuos stuff helps the other forums survive. The non-serious threads compliment the serious ones nicely. |

Nothing is less amusing than people forcing them selves to sound funny. I could just see the long list of SMAC jokes:
So NIM walks into a bar...
A Jew, an Iranian and NIM are on a deserted asteroid...
You might be a NIM neck if...
...Then Gaia turns to him and says, "plant this where the suns don't shine!"

Kurn, humour is one of the highest forms of being civilised. Real ideas and humour are not necessarily opposites; you can present a good idea with humour, or you have some nonsense posts in a thread with ideas - what's the problem. Some threads are pure nonsense, and those you don't have to read anyway.
BTW: I want to reply to the loser-thing as well, Kurn aka blind melon. (too low-key to be a flame, I hope).
