I love this page, very nice people in the forum. I hope that the people at Firaxis are making a chat line, does anyone know about this?

We may have a chat line at some point in the future, if it doesn't overload our server. Any recommendations for good chat programs would be appreciated...

Hmm...I don't have that much experience using chat programs, but if the server load is too heavy you could always just host occasional IRC chats, or something to that effect, off site. The only chat programs I've seen are the basic small member page aimed chat programs with simple logins and such. I think some places, like talkcity provide chatrooms to sites. And I'm sure there are an abundance of java based chat apps out there....somewhere.

We could always do a big ICQ member list or some such. ICQ is rapidly becoming THE contact software for gamers and the like...

I am not very familiar with ICQ, but i do have it. If you start a chat tell me, look in the other forum for more ICQ stuff

I made a chat on Dalnet at #SMAC. If you don't have an IRC client go to www.dal.net and they have a java chat in one of their links.
