Why does the game sink everything underwater when i started a map I made? WHY??!!

This bug is posted over at ACOL. I believe there is a workaround posted there as well.

I guess the smac forum section. I haven't seen the solution. I gave up on making maps.

It's called the Noah's Flood Bug. Do a search for Noah or Flood. It was also reported here (with workaround), in this forum as well as the Trouble Shooting one.

Oh, and searching works at ACOL. Best SMAC Multiplayer community (including the SMAC Team League), dedicated community to running MP games, and a dedicated community of Scenario and Map builders.
Add to that the general TBS interest there, and the great people on it, and you really should buzz by it.
