Yeah, I'll admit it. I've been playing SMAC for a long time, and I think it's a lot of fun. I realise that this will be a very unpopular opinion.

I do not think that will be an unpopular opinion... I have played the game a lot too, the GAME is fun, but some of the bugs are not... (Need I mention the unlimited range PB's)I've come to that point where I don't bother playing other difficulties than transcendant, and only play with IRON MAN on. Only annoying thing with playing with IRON MAN, is when the game locks. (Which fortunately happens rarely, once every 3 days) TNSe |

i am a newbee to SMAC. i enjoy playing thus far, but now i'm at an impass. there are only two main factions me (planet) and the hive and dedre who is on my side basically and she has a few towns. but all my units have been given orders and i cannot get control of them except here and there by clicking one of them WHEN i get cursor control. Please tell me that i am lame and there is a way to end this frustration. Otherwise, as enjoyable as this game was... it becomes a dead end trying to manage it. |

HarryJames: When you get control of one of them, cycle (or scroll around) to the units you want to control and left-click on them. This will bring up a menu with the option to cancel their orders. Enjoy!jkm firaxis games |

SMAC is the best thing since sliced bread! I do have a bit of difficulty cleaning the peanut butter off the monitor, though. Actually, except for the truncation of available time for the rest of my life, I've got no complaints with the game. JAMiAM |
