ACOL is mainly for SMAC vets who spend their time whinging about the game instead of playing it.
They also love to impose all those stupid multiplayer rules which make make most PBEMs suck big time.
I am a vet too but since everybody from the Multiplayer forum moved to ACOL I stopped posting...nobody to talk to .
Because of that I stpped playing PBEMs and instead became a full time CMN.

Obviously you have no idea what you're talking about. The discussions at ACOL are mostly friendly chatter between friends, with the occasional debate and discussion of bugs, such as

I post on ACOL and have never discussed bugs, played a MP game or done anything even vaguely SMAC related. Still there is a lot of common sense in the MP sections of ACOL, there are certainly players who'll play with all kinds of different rules from what I can see.

They whernt funny at all but the helpful advice in dealing with bugs was.
Iwe been trying to finde that tread but cant.
Can anyone help me.
The tread started with a small complaint about a bug supossedly fixed in v4.0 but still there.
I belive that some of you here where some of the helpful advicors. Solutions where involving standing on head,singing and other unspeakable things(this was after THE article with user bugs).
Plezzze can anyone remember tread name or author.
