How do the faction leaders survive until they've got the Longevity Vaccine?

I was thinging the same thing. The game lasts for what 400 - 500 years, and people live for what 100 years, i think someone (Not me) got the maths mixed up somewhere along the line

I think I read somewhere in the Interludes that the faction leaders get frozen in something for a few weeks every ten years...I might be wrong, though..

Mech is right. It says they are like put in some kind of cryofreezing thing or something. If it were a vaccine, it would have to be injected.
