I have been wondering about this, and since I just saw it in another topic, it's time to ask: how many factions will be playable at one time in Alien Crossfire? Will it be all fourteen or only seven at one time?

The civ engine only can handle 8 "civilisations" (7 normal ones + the barbarians) at a time, and I think it's unlikely that they'll change that engine.
So it's just 7 factions at a time.
