New SMAC Matchup! SMAC Boxing! Its a straight slugmatch letting 2 or more people duke it out with equal resources to see who is the better tactician!

Well, my standard practice is to type in a URL once, then use bookmarks/favorites to come back. The computer doesn't mind the URL.

Some general observations:
What was the last major war in the forums?
trippin' daily being banned. This was right before everyone moved to ACOL.
What was the most recent forum war here after everyone went to ACOL?
I couldn't think of one either.
Has anyone besides me noticed how much quieter things have been since everyone moved to ACOL? Can everyone at ACOL believe that we're now actually talking about (gasp) *the game* over here??
Hear ye, hear ye, all ye flamers and nuts: Move to ACOL! They have a "party" going on over there that they really really want you to join. So go ahead over there. We'll do just fine without you. And the best part is you won't get banned for anything! So Chrisk, HARDMAN, and itdoesn'tfit, come on over to ACOL where you can post all the **** you want without getting banned.

Everyone has the right to make their own choice. Personally, I would choose a moderated forum w/o Chrisk and HARDMAN over an unmoderated forum w/ all the loonies. If someone is so violently against censorship that they will willingly mix with those lowlifes, then they can go ahead an join ACOL.
Note: When I say "loonies" and such, I'm referring to the Chrisk and HARDMAN crowd, not the people at ACOL ;-).

ACOL is at 23K for it's Random Topic, and has a lot of dedicated forum that are doing well.
Stop in for a spell after you are done here. We'd love to have your point of view about a great many matters... pick up pointers from the masters, both self-proclaimed, and well acknowledged. Sign up and play multiplayer games against a human opponent or five. Join the SMAC Team League and be part of a team trying to beat the snot out of a team trying to do the same to you.
Read the fictions, great and small, comedic and interesting...
