Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that, since the last patch, there has been a significant jump in the number of energy market crashes? It used to be that I would never get this event, but now it has happened to me several times each of my ongoing games, too often to be just a coincidence. Has this been a problem for any of you guys?Technocrat

Besides from some in/decreased Nutrient/Mineral/Energy for 10 years, it has always been the most occurring event. Perhaps you're playing better and getting more energy credits. |

Yes you are probably playing better. I have been getting more energy too my last game. I had conquered 6 of the 7 factions, and was playing the hive so I had nothing to rush. I had so much energy it was unbelievable. So energy market crashes never bothered me. I had 4 my last game. |

No, it used to be that I could stockpile an enormous amount of energy credits - in the dozens of thousands - but now the market is crashing at around merely five to six thousand credits. Is it really not happening to anyone else? An energy market crash was incredibly infrequent in my gameplay until the very day I downloaded the patch, and so I was sure that it was due to the patch . Technocrat |

I've never had one EVER, and I'm a builder. Just reinvest those energy credits as soon as you get them, and you'll have no problems. I typically use mine to suppliment production. After any given item is at least 50% complete, I buy the rest. That's usually enough to take care of any spare cash you have. Hence, you'll never have to worry about those energy crashes. |

Tecnocrat - No, I haven't noticed a more frequent "energy market crash", But I usually play more like Player2 explained. Oh, well, I must admit: the "energy market" is the only random event I hate so much than when occurs to me I often "cheat" with a quick reload I'm so greedy, you know, as Scrooge McDuck

player2: yes, if you spend all your money, then your bank account is never robbed. But I gather that Technocrat is trying for an Economic Victory. |
