Ares 7 - I scored 564 on Morgan_2281.
I had to cede a base to beat you - but you ceded 3....
I had 556 without ceding a base...
Took me forever to play - and its only a 1 turn game !!!

newbies - do this:
Try Morgan_2281
Send me your best result
I will give you access to the download site - so you can examine our solutions and learn a trick or 2...
Then try to beat the best solution....
Have fun and learn a lot in the process

Aceplayer - saw over at the ACOL site that you are as good as sid meier
And now I see you and a couple of guys over there completing the morgan scenario in 1 turn??!! How da hell you ever do it (any tricks up the sleeves for this one)?
I have downloaded 3 scenarios -- Exodus, Morgan_2281 and Lal_2286 and trying to complete them in a "respectful" manner, though I'm still spending more time polishing up the basics in random games.

Ares 7 and a whole bunch of others are much better than I am. I studied Ares 7's soluton to Morgan_2281 and found an improvement.
Examining solutions is the BEST way to improve your game. I have learned amazing things since starting the contests.
Remember - you dont need a high score to get access to solutions - anyone who enters gets access.

oh - one other thing
its a 1 turn game - but you move twice - year 2281 and 2282 - but your bases only build items once, other factions only move once, and you only hit "turn complete" once...

I'd have to look at the other's solutions. It took my one turn to buy an army. The second to move it into position. And the third (2nd year) to attack. I had more than enough. I just need 1 or 2 ground units from the 1st turn to take the bases.

All you out there! Somehow I never see people playing multiplayer. I'm a beginer, but have older expirience with Colonization, Civ2 & 3 and AC. Send me an E-Mail, name the place and time (I live in Israel, time zone GMT +2:00).

ACOL is a good place to meet other multiplayers. Unfortunately the site seems to be down today. Hopefully soon they will have it back up.
