In the manual, I read there is only 8% oxygen on Planet. How can these soldiers in the movie walk around without an oxygen mask? |

I think the bases have some type of air system. Since the citizens are within the base. I guess a dome, but that would have to be different from the hab dome. |

Krushala: You have a point, I think also they are near a city, but if they would have an air dome, it would be penetrated by the mindworms(they can chew through anything softer than plasma steel). So the oxygen would escape. |

Isn't Earth's atmospherer like 80% N, 19.9% O2, 0.1% CO2? So, you get 40% of the oxygen on Planet. That just means you have to breathe twice as fast. Kinda like wicked high-altitute training. If smokers and people with asthma can deal with it, so can your troops  |
