For the transcenders out there, here is an interesting offer for you:

"Thou Shalt Transcend"
Faction: University of Planet
Year: 2241
Map Size: Large (30% to 50% ocean coverage)
Native lifeforms: Rare
Difficulty: Transcend Ironman
Weapon Level: Missile launcher(6)
Diplomatic status: Governor, Charter repealed in 2237.
Headquarters: Science Hub
Game Description: The crown is undisputedly yours. Only Santiago's pathetic force remains as
the only opposition. However, conquest of this planet is not favored - you need the secrets
of Ascent to Transcendence here to ensure the survival of the other planets your faction has
so far acquired.
Challenge: Win the game by Transcendence only. You will have to make a subtle balance in keeping
the Spartans from being destroyed while on the way to transcend. Then send me a sav file showing
that. You win the contest by winning in the lowest Mission Year with the Alpha Centauri Score
used as a tie-breaker.
Installation Directions: Unzip and place the sav file in your saves folder.
Start game and load.
Scenario Author: Laurens
Send Sav file solutions to: [email protected]
Make sure you state that its for tscd_UoP_2241 and supply your nick.

Not for the fainted hearted. You can opt to do macro-micromanagement with your 50+ cities or just settle for a normal transcend victory.

for consistency
changed the name of your yang scenario too

all these scenarios so little time. I'm still getting my ass kicked in that miriam scenario. I hate playing the believers. Something about playing them bugs me. I think it's their color.

My first ever defeat by the AI is this Miriam scenario_2350, though got to admit that I have underestimated them in the first place :p
Will be trying it out again after I have got my thesis done with.

the probe teams of the believers are nice. That's the only good thing about them. I still prefer spartans over them in single player. Probe teams are the only way you can do anything in that scenario. Shard isn't doing much. Got to wait to steal quantem I guess. I'll find time this weekend to do some scenarios.

Yah, ace. That's true - this scenario will really get you in deep trouble if you really think that the AI is one dumb fellow
(Yang will feel Laurens' full wrath the next time he go to the Miriam war...)
