If you look closley at Deirde's portrait, you can see she dosn't appear to be wearing any type of clothing on her shoulders. Also, when people try to get me to team up with them against her, they tell me she's "running naked through the trees". Is she naked? What's the deal? |

Mel Gibson & Science Fiction? Hmmm... I'm afraid that (judging by the average leaders' age) you'd have to accept a Sean Connery, would it do? Others I can see fit & viable are maybe Harrison Ford, or Lance Henriksen. Unless you convince'em that Dennis Quaid credentials are still valable ('Enemy Mine', and the shrinky ( ) thing w/ Martin Short( ), where you could at least get a satisfying[guess] look at his back).I've got no sexist prejudices, so I'd say that Will Hurt and Raul Julia were much more fascinating, Nell my dear. Seeing that ya'll don't know my true identity I may as well tell ya' that my wife is a spitting image of Deidre. I've confirmed with some friends and they agreed. It's kind of weird. Anyway, I was jokingly telling my wife that we should do a nude Diedre website (where she could play Diedre dancing amoung the trees), charge a membership fee and rake in the dough. But, she immediately refused. You see, even though she looks like Diedre, she equally has the same personality as Sister Marian. Oh well, another entreprenuer idea lost. |

Sometimes sexual overtones exist and may influence our appreciation of an image. Some of us do not have hang-ups about this and can discuss aesthetics with humor in our hearts, knowing that we may disagree on the specifics but not on the Now, some will disparage any openly displayed affection to an image charging the admirer with prurience. Actually, none of the SMAC females are particularly hot. Santiago has a nice voice (and the actor is a REAL woman, Q^3, not a painting) but to be honest - nah. There are better people to go dancing naked around (not through, unless you have blink displacers) the trees with. |

Let's do lunch! At least nobody in SMAC had stupid fake sounding overdramatized accents like that. I mean they were all ok in the medieval age, but anything past the modern age was horrible. The most you have to deal with is the regional accents, and stupid Morgan TV. I don't know how the people who made the movies thought they were getting off by having a South Park-esque Morgan kicking Lal off of his continent, but it just made me moan and want to wretch. In fact everything with Moran in it did. The whole TV thing was way too overdone. |

They were ALL ok until the modern age? Um.. excuse me but it didn't matter what period it was.. I always hated the attitude advisor. And Morgan kicking Lal off the land in the Morgan TV clip is one of my favorite parts. LOL always makes me laugh because Lal was the first faction I ever played. Then again.. I've never seen South Park either so the reference escaped me. I thought the trade advisor was cool too.. least until the modern age. Tell you what.. Sorry to disturb you, but Deirdre is not naked. At least she was not in that early PC Gamer preview. She wore some sort of clothing I can't describe very well with my English. OTOH, Morgan also looked quite female in that preview picture too... |

Maybe the question we should be asking is "why is Deidre naked?". If it's before a council meeting then, sure, she's doing it for votes. But waht if she's home? Does she like doing the housework naked? Or is she waiting for the Milkman to arrive in the supply crawler? |
