I had owned the game for quite some time now, and played it religiously everyday. I had also read many many reviews on the net for alpha centauri, and seen many game screenshots.
Now I have a question for the game, in every in-game screenshot that I have seen, the window that 's at the bottom of the game screen(which displays info such as how are you comparing to the other factions in graphs and charts, and your commerce rate, the mission year, etc) is split into two screens. In my game, it's only one, so I can view only one thing at a time until they rotate themselves. How can I change the screen to two? is there a preference command for it?

It has to do with your screen resolution. On my comp, I have 800X whatver it is , and I too only have one box at the bottom. ON the comp at my college whicc is on a higher res, I see the two boxes like in the screenshots.

1024 x 768 and 32bit graphics.
I have NO problems with the screen, graphics, and the like "bugs" that are mentioned. this allows me free time to deal with the other bugs.
