Got me. I thought maybe you were referring to a bug that may have been carried over to SMAC from Civ2, where if you make an all-water map, the game ends right away and you get 3000% score. A lot of bugs were carried over as well. I don't think they really redesigned the whole thing, otherwise it'd be way better... but anyhow now I'm off topic. I guess that 3000% bug wouldn't apply to SMAC because of the water cities. Hmm.. Oh well.
