I tried posting this in trouble shooting and support but received no answer. The equation listed in the DataLinks for ecodamage calculation doesn't match the games actual calculations. In addition the ecodamge calculation varies between patches 2.0 and 3.0 (this is posted over on S & T). My game strategy relies heavily on knowing precisely how much industry each base can tolerate and at what point ecodamage modifiers must be built. I really would appreciate a reply. It is VERY frustrating to spend 24 turns building a borehole to have it eliminated the next turn by fungal bloom.

I've never had a borehole eliminated by a fungal bloom. The fungus bloomed over it, but I could still use it. |

I felt the need to check it too, but then didn't go for. If you deserve your nickname, I'd trust your calculations. So the ones that can tell you something useful, are only Firaxians, I guess. |

Does anybody know if firaxis actually ever answers technical questions such as ecodamage?? I am really interested in finding the answer. |
