posted 03-30-99 09:18 AM ET Is it possible to save multiplayer games when I'm playing with my friend over the Internet with TCP/IP? There is a save option and I saved the game after a while but I couldn't find any place to load it again.

You load it from the host's computer, at the MP setup screen, under Type of Game.

The way to load a Multiplayer game is non-intuitive for many people! First you do NOT click on the LOAD option on the first menu ... next there is NO LOAD option the next screens after you choose Multiplayer, you have to make believe you are starting a new multiplayer game and then choose LOAD as the type of game (weird logic from my point of view).
Anyway ... since many people have problems with this ... it is a major section on my Multiplayer Info webpage (complete with examples):

yeah I don't like how the menus work. I think the Starcraft approach would work well. First you have a menu that says: single player, multiplayer, map editor, exit. Then from there you get the other options.
