Author Topic:   Help! Still gettin' Terren.exe crash after 3.0....

Mind you, this only happens after about 4 to 5 hours of play but still annoying because thats the best time of my game. My Specs
1) PII 450
2) 256MB RAM
3) 20MB min / 20MB max custom swap file to force windows to use sys memory
4) DX6.1 final
5) TNT w/final ref. detonator drivers
6) MX300 w/A3D ref. drivers
7) SMAC complete install w/3.0 enhancement
Game plays fine untill i get about done with all my technology and start to conquer and the I get the Terren.exe errors. Please advise?

Do you have the CD in the drive? Sometimes that solves the problem, even on a complete install. Email me at [email protected] with your specs again if that's not it.

Hey Jeff, CD is still in there. Its weird because for the first 4 to 5 hours of play I could not get an error even if I wanted one, but after 5 hours I have to save my game every year because I know that terren.exe error is right around the corner. I, after the error, I reload one year back and do everything the same, I get the same error; if I reload one year back and do somethings different, I don't get the error. HELP!
