Like I said, nothing of any interest in here.
I'm bored, stuck in one of those billion infintry unit ground wars mid-game in SMAC with no prospect of it letting up soon. Sometimes you just have to take a break from those kinds of games.
So, I don't want to play SMAC right now and nothing interesting has been posted in the forum lately.

I try to reverse-engineer from italian to english a quote from Schopenhauer (ok, I know the original is not english but german [maybe Roland can help on it]: how should I've said, Trance-Engineering?):
"Life is a pendulum slowly swinging from tedium(?) to boredom"
I usually end being stuck in such games, tried no pods, little help. I think we could use some Gaming Process Reengineering, and more dynamically and aggressively seek and adjust our shortest path to victory, instead of sitting in the train and watch our (war)campaign dully rolling by from the windows.
Gawk, SMAC is addicting, but is a SLOW game to play......
