I don't know if this can be done now or added to a patch, but I'd like an option like in MoM2 where you don't know who you're going to run into during the game. Picture adding 3 or more custom factions to your game and then having only 6 others actually safely make Planetfall. You still have 7 factions fighting over Planet, but there would be variety.

Nah, I think it's good the way it is...what I would like to see is an option where the captain of the ship also made it down, giving another faction.
