There was a thread a few weeks back which entertained the idea of SMAC going "Hollywood". Anyway, should SMAC become as popular as say "Wing Commander", I have a request. Please, Sid or Brain, DO NOT let Chris Roberts direct the film or for that matter please don't attempt it yourselves. Please get a quality director/producer. I would hate for SMAC the movie to be as embarresingly POOR as Wing Commander: The Movie. Hey, try some movie titles like; "Saving Lt. Santiago", "Mind Worms in Love", or "Transcendence is Beautiful". |

I would love to see Wynona Ryder as Lady Deirdre. Why? I sure as hell wouldn't mind the scene where she goes 'running naked through the woods'.  |

And if they seriously made a movie based on the SMAC world, 'The wars of Sparta' would be a good name too. Maybe 'The Unity' or even just 'Alpha Centauri'? |
