I found this gif of the unit design workshop. Does somebody knows what happen with it ? Why it didn't make it to the final realese version ? Can you imagine if all the graphics were up to that level ? Do you think one of this "enhancement packs" will eventually provide this level of graphics ? Or we'll need to wait for SMAC 2 ?

They are all that good, but it depends on your computer's display drivers, etc. Also, they scrapped that interface for the design workshop.
