Does anyone know if you can delete the movies from the game and still be able to run the game??? Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm, all I can really suggest is trying a custom install, and seeing if you can leave the movies out.
If you have the American version, you can then leave the CD out of the drive, and they won't play.
Other than that, you could try looking in the ini files, and see if there's something there you can change. I don't know if there is or not though...

Sure. Just delete the movies folder and keep the CD out of the drive. You can also disable them in-game with the AV prefs.
