Does anyone out there know when Fraxis will (or if) be bringing out a Mac version of SMAC. Gareth Pammenter

Well, I am a Mac user, and I have bought the PeeCee version of SMAC, and guess what?I will be first in line to buy a Mac version of the program. I'm not ashamed to admit it. In fact, anyone on here who thinks there should be a Macintosh port should post here as a show of support. That applies to the Wintel folks, too.. Surely, you'd love to get the chance to defend your platform of choice against a bunch of Mac upstarts! Anyway, that's my modest proposal. Spencer Olson |

Damn, I keep messing this up. I was forgetting to say that Firaxis has stated that it is ultimately up to Electronic Arts [their publishers] as to what platforms the game is ported to. However, with both new Civilization games coming to the Macintosh, how can they resist?Spencer Olson |

You've got two more votes here. My wife has a Mac, I've got the Win98 machine... We've been sharing my computer on the weekends. She'd love to have the game on her Mac so she can play whenever she wants to and I'd like the game on the Mac so *I* can play whenever I want to. |
