Clans are for mindless shooters and PK'ers in UO games. Clans have absolutely no place in a thinking person's game like AC. Next thing you know, you'll be trying to start SimCity Clans!
If you really, REALLY want to join a clan, go play Quake. Otherwise, just play like everybody else.

Gonna have to agree here, the purpose and use of clans is pretty much invalidated in a game like SMAC.
'Initiation?' Please. SMAC games take days, weeks, and for PBEM, even months. Way too long for a single 'initiation.'
