I have played several very long development games as the University (development being my tendency) and very often I am in complete control of the planet (example: the only factions remaining are the Spartans who have sworn blood truce to me in order to survive, and the Gaians who I have a pact with. All other factions fell to my advanced weaponry and research). I have ~60 cities from expansion or conquest, and build up a substantial amount of energy credits, when too frequently an 'Energy Market Crash' occurs and wipes out most of my energy. What is causing this and how do I prevent it? Also, I would have posted to an existing thread, but your search never yields Thanks for any help. Bruno |

Turn off Random Events. The event generator appears to favor hitting you with negative events that affect your strengths. If you have a large energy surplus you are more prone to the energy market crash. |
