Indeed the combat (attack) sounds did upgrade along with units improvements in CivII. Maybe our favourites game designers didn't set aside enough spare time in their project schedule to try to imagine wich sound a Tachion Bolt or a Graviton Gun would produce. |

Maybe it's unrealistic to hope this to happen in an upgrade... Well moving to an other point. I and my friend found it really annoyeing not to have a quit option that opens the first menu (you know the one that has start a new game, load, multiplayer) when we play multiplayer. This shouldn't be to difficult to impliment.

Actually, if you save and then use the "start new game" option from the pop up menu on the top left corner of the general control panel, (i believe you have to first select "game") you will be popped back ot the main menu. |

Hex, what do you mean "unrealistic"? Firaxis has already provided several graphics enhancements, so why not sound enhancements too.Oh BTW, It would be cool to hear troops marching when moving infantry units, some futuristic engine sound with hovertanks, etc. Ah, the sound of those boots and motors when my army invades enemy territory across the border...

My wish for 3.0:Please, please, PLEASE have the target square highlight for targeting cursors (bombard, drop). It's amazing how often I mistarget on an adjacent square, even with the elevated terrain rendering off. |

My wish for 3.0. Take more time testing it before it's released to prevent more bugs from popping up. I love the game, and I bet even those who complain love the game too And maybe some sort of template for the build que that's editable? I find myself queing the same structures in the same order in many many instances. |

Stargazer: you can make templates for building ques. In fact, up to 7 or 8. All you have to do is to set what you want the template to be in your que list in some base. Then, right-click on the que list and select 'Save Template'. That easy. |
