OK, I completed The Voice of The Planet Secret Project like it says in the Manual,however when I go to the Workshop window to build Ascent to Transcendence it`s
not there to build ,now what ??

Hmmm. I think there's a lapse between competing that project and the opportunity to begin the Ascent to Transcendence. Keep playing on and the game will eventually announce you can do this following one of the planet 'interludes'.

I, too, have had Ascend not show up. I built Voice of Planet like 10-20 turns ago, and nothing is happening. I've maxed out all my production, and would probably be able to build the damn thing in 5 turns or so.
I'm getting really bored.
I'm using the Beta 2 update. Dunno if that has to do with anything.

Whatever it is, it isn't the Beta 2 patch. If the use of the patch didn't allow for transcendece, there would be big fiery furnaces in the pants of many players. I think planet has to talk to you and then go crazy on you before you can transcend.

Check your game preferences and rules to make sure that you have enabled the Transcendant Victory condition. If this isn't enabled, you can't transcend.

Yes indeed, not checking "enable the Transcedence Victory Condition " in the prefs & rules box prior to starting a custom game screwed my game up.
Lets see, there has to be someway I can blame Firaxis for me being a Fool :-)

Actually, you are not necessarily a "fool".
Did you use custom rules, then then maybe not like your starting position, and do a Quick Start to try again with the same rules and faction? I did this one time and ALL of the victory conditions were turned off. Some kind of bug.
