Hi, I've been playing SMAC for a little while now, but everywhere I've looked, I cannot find what "Hotseat" play means. I know it's something to do with multiplayer- Is this available by any type of multiplayer game? How and When does Hotseat work?

Hotseat is a multiplayer game on one computer, with each player taking a turn at the computer. The term, IMO, derives from hotbunking, where multiple people take turns using a bunk aboard ship(when you go to sleep, the bunk is already warm). The analogy should be obvious.
