People were saying that SMAC couldn't get up into the top 3 on the charts because the other programs were entrenched and had too many votes. Well, it is #3 already in its 2nd week on the charts ... if everyone would go vote for it now, we can have it #1 by next week! Sorry ... but the charts only let you vote FOR a game. You cannot vote against it. And remember you can vote 5 points to 4 different games each week. Remember to vote each week. And finally ... you can vote for both Alpha Centauri DEMO and final retail game! Search for Alpha Centauri and it first gives you the DEMO game number to vote for ...search again to get the real retail game!!! Best Regards, |

The chances for SMAC getting #1 are an almost certainty. About the only recent game that has done as well as SMAC, debut-wise, was Starcraft. It debuted at #9 and proceeded to go to #1 in its second week (a position it held for 30 or so weeks). As well, Civilization 2 went to #1 and held that position for a long time.

Hey, a game with Lawyer and Park Ranger units is enough to sell me on the fact that CTP will be an instant classic. |

VOTED. Hey all you CCTP fans, you can vote for the CCTP demo (it's on their list). I WONDER????? if CCTP turns out to be a dogcrap game, are all those who flamed SMAC and praised CCTP going to come back and post a retraction to their previous posts???? |
